Interview
Q: You've had an amazing season, are there any specific areas of your game that you would like to improve over the coming months?
A: Strength for sure. Overall strength
Q: Some analysts say that your footwork against speed rushers is really your only issue, what do you think about this and what do you do to improve your weaknesses?
A: You know, i love hearing my weak points. As an offensive lineman i never get complacent. I could do better at getting to my “spot” regardless of the edge rushers GAP whether that be 5 6 7 or wide 9. I work on my weaknesses. Constantly. Tape, practice, repeat
Q: I love the determination that you play with on the field! Where does that come from and how does that translate to your great performance?
A: “Switch” all great players have it. You hit the grass or turf that switch turns on. As an O lineman you gotta be determined to destroy your opponents for 4 quarters. I believe nasty and tough play translates to good play
Q: It's fair to say that your draft stock has been on the rise, has it been hard to stay grounded and focus on continual improvement?
A: Honestly no. I’ve done a good job of staying away from the media. I’m focused, i have a lot more to prove to myself and the world. I stay grounded through my faith and family
Q: Finally, to whichever team that drafts you, what do you want the fans to know about you, as a player and as a person?
A: My heart for people is what matters. I want to be a world changer. Whoever drafts me will get a guy that aspires to change their program and city. I’m a man of the lord with a soul on fire to bring a smile to everyone’s face I meet
